Guest Speaker: Janet Hoffman, Executive Director - Abuse and Rape Crisis Shelter (ARC) in Warren County
Janet hopes to bring along one or two local women who will share with us how the shelter has helped them out in times of personal crisis.

Full Buffet Dinner: Entrees to be announced. A vegetarian entrée will be available at the buffet table. CASH BAR.

Women’s Club Update: We welcomed many terrific newcomers at our Mexican theme potluck dinner at Valerie Finn-Deluca’s house in March. The discussion was heartfelt and very lively. Several women expressed how nice it was to be amongst friends who shared similar concerns about the direction that this country is headed in and the desperate need for change . Many thanks to Laura Curliss for speaking to us about her current campaign for the 12th District Court of Appeals, and to judicial candidate Bruce Carter’s wife for sharing information on Bruce’s campaign. Valerie Finn-Deluca has agreed to pair up with Anne Howard in organizing this rapidly growing group.

Informal Mission Statement: Women in our society are stretched in all directions by so many responsibilities: family, career and volunteer demands. The purpose of the Warren County Democratic Women’s Club remains the same: to provide Democratic and Independent women with a fun and relaxing social environment to exchange ideas and support local and national Democratic causes and campaigns.
