Join Warren County Commissioner candidate Dr. Nabila Babar and Katie Wang for a rally to remove the sigma from mental health and addiction. Walk to support those who are suffering and relieve the pain.
Bring posters supporting mental health and those suffering from addiction.
The rally will start at Pine Hill Lake Park at 12:00 noon, and end at the Mason Municipal Building.
The Mason Heritage Day Parade & Festival in downtown Mason is a great opportunity to show our strength in Warren County!
We’ll start organizing for the parade at 2:00pm, and we need everyone available to join us! Wear your favorite Democratic candidate’s shirt (or just a blue shirt if you don’t have one for a candidate) and we will provide the signs. We’ll be joined by Greg Landsman (OH-01 congressional candidate), Joy Bennett (HD-56 Ohio House candidate), Katie Hoffman (state school board candidate), and Nabila Babar (county commissioner candidate).
To be kept in the loop on the details, sign up to march.
We’ll also have a booth at the festival, where we’ll be greeting voters and giving them an opportunity to meet and greet with our candidates. We need you to be a friendly face and help us with our booth! Here’s what we need:
- Setup: On Saturday morning, meet at WCDP HQ, load up our materials into vehicles, and then go to our booth site in Mason and set up our tent and booth. Will require some light lifting.
- Booth Greeters: Saturday afternoon/evening, staff our booth, greet voters and tell them about our great Democratic candidates. We have two 3-hour shifts (4-7 and 7-10) and need 4 people for each shift.
- Teardown: On Saturday evening, tear down our booth, get all the materials loaded into vehicles, and bring everything back to WCDP HQ. Will require some light lifting.
It’s Election Day! If you didn’t already vote at early voting or by mail, today is the last chance to cast your 2022 general election ballot.
Click here to find your polling place.
Polls will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. If you are in line to vote at 7:30pm, you can still vote! Stay in line!
All are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.

We are marching in Cincinnati to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Roe v Wade, and to show our community we are Bigger Than Roe!
We must show our state and local government that we will NOT stand for attacks on our bodies and reproductive rights! We demand the choice to control own bodies, our own lives, our own futures.
We are meeting at Cincinnati City Hall, chanting to get pumped, and marching into Fountain Square to finish with a peaceful demonstration.
Join the League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area for a panel featuring Hamilton County sheriff Charmaine McGuffey, Warren County sheriff Larry Sims, and Cincinnati police chief Teresa Theetge, discussing policing and race. Panelists will respond to these questions regarding policing and race:
1. What is going well?
2. What are your challenges?
3. What are your 2-year goals?
This free panel discussion will be online-only via Zoom. Click here to register for the event.
The time is NOW to protect Abortion access in Ohio. Overwhelmingly, Ohioans support abortion, and other types of reproductive healthcare, and believe that the government should stay out of people’s healthcare decisions. The ACLU of Ohio, along with a multitude of organizations, is working to put abortion on the ballot this year through a citizen initiated effort. Join them on Monday, March 13th, to hear about their efforts and how you can help protect and defend this human right.
This is a virtual event. Click here to sign up.
Protect Choice Ohio submitted constitutional amendment language to protect our reproductive freedoms to the Ohio Attorney General last week — and need your help to keep this amendment moving forward.
Join our virtual volunteer training to learn how to circulate petitions and get signatures for this critical ballot initiative. Our work will allow voters decide to protect reproductive rights in the Ohio Constitution in 2023.
The training will last about an hour, and RSVP is required. We will send out a secure link to the training via email prior to the event.
