First-Time Candidates Shine as County Leadership Expands

Warren County, OH — Warren County voters delivered a powerful message in this year’s local elections, with unexpectedly higher turnout at 30.9% for an off-year election.

At our 2025 Fundraising Dinner + Silent Auction, The Art of Democracy: Celebrating Expression and Freedom, we’ll be giving out awards to the people who best exemplify the Democratic spirit and contribute to the growth of our party and progress in our community.

Democrat of the Year: This award goes to a Warren County Democrat who deserves unique recognition for either their leadership of the party over the last year or otherwise helping to represent the party in an exemplary way that reflects the best attributes and ideals of the Democratic Party. Rising Star: This award recognizes a newer Warren County Democrat who is an emerging leader.

Ohio Decisively Rejects Issue 1

WE DID IT!

The votes have been cast and counted, and the NO side has won a decisive victory in Ohio! Issue 1, which would have made it all but impossible for citizens to put an amendment on our state constitution, has been defeated by a margin of 57%-43% statewide.
