Join us for our June meeting on Tuesday, June 3, with social time beginning at 6:00 pm and meeting at 6:30 pm.

We will hear about one of the new WCDP Committees recently formed, The Action Team, Co-Chaired by Rhonda Koenig and Ian Logan. Attacks on our Democracy are happening fast and there are ways for us to push back. Come hear their creative ideas for our sharing the things we can do together.

And as always chat about our experiences since our last meeting, protests, zoom calls, and any events. We will continue conversations about future speakers and take a vote about having a July break!

And we are always accepting donations for the Food Pantry.

Join us at the next LGBTQ+ Outreach Committee Mtg on June 5th at 6:30pm. We will be discussing plans to support the upcoming Lebanon Pride event and next steps in our support of the LGBTQ+ community. Our new Democrat Proud Pride Merchandise (t-shirt, buttons, and bracelets) will be available for purchase as well!

The WCDP Executive Committee, which meets at least four times per year, is responsible for the bulk of the ongoing oversight of the county party. It includes all the members of the Central Committee as well as the officers (elected by the Executive Committee) and numerous “at-large” members, who are elected by the existing Executive Committee at the recommendation of the chair.

In 2025, we have separated the Executive Committee meetings from our regular monthly meetings, in order to ensure that all of our priorities can have the time and energy they deserve. We will hold Executive Committee meetings on the second Monday of January, April, June, and September, at 6:30pm at WCDP Headquarters. Per our party bylaws, Executive Committee members will receive a meeting notice, agenda, and relevant documents via email at least five days before the meeting date.

Per ODP and WCDP bylaws, all Executive Committee meetings are open to the public, but only Executive Committee members can vote on Executive Committee business. Non-members may be permitted to speak at Executive Committee meetings, at the discretion of the Chair.

Join us for the next meeting of our Food Insecurity Team: Feeding Warren County! We will be meeting on Thursday, June 12th at 6:30 PM at WCDP Headquarters (1231 Columbus Avenue, Lebanon). In the months of June and July, our collection effort is “The Dog (& Cat) Days of Summer” and we will be collecting dog and cat food (in cans and small bags), puppy pads, and small bags of cat litter that will be distributed to food pantries across Warren County. We hope to see you there!

Please join Warren County Democratic Crafters for an evening of protest sign making and/or a chance to help create our table decorations for our up-coming Gala on August 2nd.

Sign Making:

We will have poster boards, markers and stencils available but you are welcome to bring your own to use or share.

Gala Centerpiece Project and Donations:

We are asking for donations of new or like new (out of package, but not used) art supplies like paint brushes, crayons, colored pencils, paints, scissors or similar items. They can be dropped off at HQ during office/meeting hours or contact renee.westermeyer@warrencountydems.org for additional locations, times or more information. The previously donated containers that we will be decorating during this meeting will be used to put these supplies in. After our Gala, the centerpieces and art supplies will be donated to teachers or art programs.

In August we will return to our normal second Saturday meeting and will be starting some knitting or fabric-based projects.
