Hello Ohio Democrats! The Ohio Democratic Party’s Main Street Initiative is partnering with LEAD Ohio PAC and on a campaign management bootcamp for Democrats across Southwest Ohio. From Dayton to Cincinnati, Oxford to Hillsboro, Batavia to Springfield, all are welcome.
Register here for this in-person training, which will be held on Saturday, April 29 in Warren County from approximately 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Once you are accepted, you will receive the location, full schedule, and other materials. This training is free and lunch is provided.
This training will cover topics like: planning your campaign, crafting your message and narrative as a candidate, fundraising, engaging with the media and getting your message out via various communications channels, direct voter contact and field organizing, and more.
Because each event has a fixed number of spots, priority will go to to candidates, staff, and volunteers who plan to get involved in 2023 campaigns, though we also welcome potential future candidates, party activists and volunteers, and other good Democrats who want to get involved to register as well. We will begin sending out acceptances on a rolling basis on April 14.
We invite you to attend Congressman Greg Landsman’s Congressional Town Halls for Ohio’s First District to ask questions, share your thoughts, and hear from Congressman Landsman.
Those who haven’t signed the petition for the Right To Reproductive Freedom With Protections For Health And Safety amendment are invited to Northern Hills Synagogue for a signing drive to add this important issue to the ballot in Ohio.
In conjunction with this event, you are also invited to attend a talk by Rabbi Ferro – “Personhood, Human Life, and Abortion: Jewish Tradition’s Voice in the Contemporary Conversation,” beginning at 1 PM. Feel free to join us for one or both events! https://nhs.shulcloud.com/event/personhood
Drop in any time and bring a friend to sign the petition. Registration is not required for either event, though appreciated for Rabbi Ferro’s presentation.
