As we conclude a busy year where we marked some important successes, we’re looking forward to the next steps in building and strengthening our county party. The new year before us is a vital year for Ohio and for our democracy, and the WCDP team is preparing to play a very critical role in that effort.

The data gathered from this survey will help us improve party operations and our grassroots infrastructure. This survey is the first step in a forthcoming series of WCDP development and training programing that will be open to all members and volunteers the first half of 2024.

Running for Office or Campaigning

Voters deserve choices. One of our goals for 2024 and beyond is to field good candidates for every single office in Warren County. But we can't do that if people don't step up to run. We're always recruiting prospective candidates to run for local office like township trustee, school board, city council, fiscal officer, county commission, judge, prosecutor, sheriff, or state legislature — and for people who are interested in campaign management or financing. This section is to gauge your interest in being part of a campaign — either running for office yourself, or helping to lead a candidate's campaign.

Local candidates rely on super-volunteers to help them run their campaigns. They serve in roles like campaign treasurer, campaign manager, or administrative assistant, social media administrators, or event planning. Often, people who start as volunteers in this role have turned it into a paid career in political campaigning.
